I have to go but can't leave
Kamagasaki area in Osaka where many day-laborers, homeless, the poor and less fortunate people live. Mainly men of middle and old age. Life is harsh in the area but the residents try to make the best out of the hopeless situation. People are resilient even in such conditions and try to help each other as much as possible. Day, after day, after day. Some can improve their situation, others cannot handle it at all or do not make it. If you step into the area and make contact you find people just like everywhere else. Some are very kind, others are not. Here they are not seen for who they are: humans. Just bad luck and unfortunate circumstances is what it takes to end up here. It really could happen to anybody.
